You Got This!

I have been so busy with work, school, and my kids I have hardly been able to sit down and write. I hate when that happens but that is life. It makes me think though. I have been so super busy this past week but I was still able to keep myself on track. Discipline is key! Because it is a lifestyle it isn't difficult for me to stay on track even when life gets crazy. When I first became as hard core about my clean eating it was very difficult. I would supply myself with enough food throughout the day or I would go for something fast that wasn't healthy.

With my job I talk to so many people a day about their eating habits and workout routines. I am amazed at how many are misinformed! Almost shocking to be honest. Everyone tries to make eating healthy or clean so difficult. It's not. I promise you it's not. I wouldn't be doing it if it was. I have too much going on to have anything difficult or complicated getting in the way. Here are a few of my tips on keeping it healthy and clean.

  • Budget is key. When you think of your grocery list try to get the most for your money. This may mean you have to go to a few places to get different items.
  • Prep meals will save your life. You can get awesome lunch boxes like the one I found on http://isolatorfitness.com/isobag/ Yes it's a little expensive but a great investment for your health and future.
  • Snacking. Everyone snacks. You have to I say. I eat every 3 hours so I am snacking all day long. There are great healthy snacks for you that you can keep in your purse or car or your new lunch box. This site has some awesome clean or Paleo based snacks that I love and know you will too! http://gearboxrx.com/collections/nutrition Check it out, you wont be disappointed!
  • Saying no. It's difficult when everyone at the office is partaking in the cake or the food that was catered for you. If you are serious about your health and fitness you just have to learn to say no thank you and eat what you brought. Yes people will "give you a hard time" but that's on them. You are doing yourself a favor and if they want to pollute their body with those things then more power to them. I believe you can do it! You have the strength to say no and stay dedicated to your goal.
I hope those little tips help. You got this! Don't let anyone's words affect you and your progress. Most of the time when people say stuff to you about your eating habits they are a little upset with themselves that they aren't as dedicated or disciplined as you! Take their dig as a compliment!

More to come,
   Stay Fabulous
